West hills ca is a charming community in the western part of Los Angeles County. It is known for its parks, historic landmarks and excellent shopping. It is also home to two private high schools and 13 public schools.
The area is home to the Santa Susana Pass State Park which has deep canyons and steep ridges. The park has a large number of hiking trails that can take you to overlooks where you can enjoy stunning views of the area.
Other places to visit in West Hills include Orcutt Ranch Estate, which is a historical ranch centered around the home of oil pioneer W.W. Orcutt and the gardens that feature citrus orchards and 700-year-old oak trees.
A peculiar attraction in the area is Grandma Prisbrey’s Bottle Village, which is a California Historical Landmark. Its unique design is a beautiful work of art and is located near Simi Valley.
West Hills is also home to a variety of city parks including Knapp Ranch Park. These parks offer sports fields and courts, playgrounds and community rooms.
Several small creeks are also found in West Hills, which supply water to the Los Angeles River, and provide habitat for local wildlife. Bell and Dayton creeks are a few of these streams.
For shopping, head to the Westfield Topanga & Promenade mall, which is one of the largest shopping malls in the state of California. It has almost 300 shops and is a popular place for celebrities to hang out and shop.

Another great thing to do in Beverly Hills is to visit the Virginia Robinson Gardens, a historic estate that is open to the public and is considered to be one of the first luxury homes in the city. Here visitors can enjoy a stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens as well as a tour of the historic mansion.
